2009 Caribbean Women's Championships, Barbados June 20 - 27th
The Barbados Rugby Union will host the 2009 Women's Caribbean 15 a-side championships between June 21st - 27th at the Garrison Savannah, Bridgetown, Barbados. Reigning champions, Trinidad & Tobago will be out to retain their crown, though will face stiff opposition from home team Barbados and an ever improving Cayman Islands team and St Vincent & The Grenadines
In 2008, a relatively young and in-experienced Trinidad & Tobago team caused an upset when they defeated Jamaica 12-10 in their first match, drew 5-5 with Guyana in their second and secured victory with a comprehensive 79-0 win over the Cayman Islands.
