The Dog River Howlers Rugby Club(http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=531719072#/group.php?gid=2426610840&ref=ts) in conjunction with Cuban rugby(Chukin Chao) are now trying to finalize the teams for the first annual Havana Howlers 7's (Feb.27 & 28, 2010). Emil Signes' Atlantis RFC,a representative side from Ontario Canada, the developmental Mexican National Team, the Dog River Howlers Rugby Club, the Cuban National team and 3 other Cuban regional select sides are committed to date. There has also been a significant interest shown by several Caribbean country representative sides.

. The 3 night package would be $400 US. For anyone wanting to extend their stay we can hook you up with a Cuban travel agent(who happens to be a rugby player) to address your needs.

Click on the the webpage read and view pictures/ article from the Howlers participation in last years ALBA Cuba 7's ( http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=90701&id=514726253&l=138348a195 ). It was truly a great experience(former Canadian rugby legend Mark Wyatt says it was his most memorable) as I know the Havana Howlers 7's will be. Amazing music art and culture , social activities(day and evening) galore, wonderful weather, world class beaches , a friendly and passionate rugby community along with some very good rugby.
With rugby 7's becoming an Olympic sport I would suggest that this genre of the game will truly become a global sport and as a result tournaments like this will flourish. Be part of history and be part of the first ever Havana Howlers 7's Rugby Tournament
Please let me know by return email if you want to enter a team or in turn also forward this to others who may be interested. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions .
